about us

Acetaldehyde causes cancer. Drinking alcohol is a relatively recently acquired taste going back 20,000 years. The human body is not prepared for consumption of alcohol. However in direct contrast to the damage that is caused by nicotine through smoking, the negative side effects of enjoying alcohol can be very much limited.

SUPALIV ™

Alcohol is metabolised to Acetaldehyde. If acetaldehyde stays for too long a time or is consumed in too high a dosage. Acetaldehyde causes cancer. Apart from the potentialcancer risk, acetaldehyde may cause headaches, skin irritation, drowsiness, etc.. Very recently scientists discovered the toxicity of acetaldehyde. The liver cancer rate in Japan is the highest in the world. Most Japanese cope well with alcohol, they metabolise alcohol into acetaldehyde as quickly as most Caucasians. But Asian including most Japanese and some Caucasians can not metabolise acetaldehyde at the speed necessary to avoid too high and too long concentration of it. It means, while the alcohol is quickly metabolised into acetaldehyde, the acetaldehyde level continuously increases and reaches a critical level.

SUPALIV ™

During the last five years Prof. Dr. Haruhiko Inufusa, Osaka, Japan, and his research team developed a drug that :

- reduces the alcohol level in blood on average by 40 %
- reduces the acetaldehyde level in blood and organs on average by 35 %
